Art that transforms spaces into stories.
Each Steph Doucet work is created to transform a space into a place of memory, beauty, and personal expression. Every collection invites you into a world where art, design, and emotion exist as one.
About Steph Doucet

The full story

Steph Doucet has been creating for as long as she can remember.
Growing up in Quebec, creativity wasn't a hobby — it was simply how she moved through the world. While others reached for words, Steph reached for colour. While others described what they felt, she showed it.
Her path as an artist is one of parallel tracks — a professional career built on discipline, leadership and analytical rigour running alongside a creative practice built on instinct, colour and feeling. The two never competed. They fed each other. The precision she brings to her work, the intentionality behind every composition, the refusal to settle for "good enough" — these come as much from years of professional life as they do from artistic training.
Partly self-taught, partly formally trained, Steph spent years developing a visual language that felt completely her own. She studied, experimented, failed, painted over, tried again — until what emerged on the canvas was undeniably, unmistakably hers. Bold strokes. Saturated colour. A tension between control and abandon that gives her work its particular electricity.
She calls her style abstract realism — not because it fits neatly into a category, but because it lives in the space between what something looks like and what it feels like. A skull that feels like defiance. A floral that carries grief. A landscape that hums with joy. The subject is rarely the point. The emotion always is.

The work

Steph's practice spans several distinct bodies of work — original large-format paintings on canvas, signed and numbered giclée prints in limited editions, and a line of collector art objects that extends her vision beyond the gallery wall into everyday life.
Her collector's chocolate box — an artisan chocolate experience housed in a collector art box — has become one of her most beloved creations : a gift that is simultaneously luxurious, personal and entirely unexpected.
She also creates custom commissions for private collectors, hotels, spas, corporate offices and commercial spaces — working closely with clients to translate their vision, their space and their identity into a painting that could belong nowhere else.

The obsession

Ask Steph what drives her and she'll tell you the same thing every time : transformation.
Not transformation in the grand, abstract sense — but the very specific, very physical transformation of a space. The way a single painting can make a room feel intentional. The way the right piece of art can make someone stop, exhale, and feel something they weren't expecting to feel.
She has always believed that art doesn't belong only in galleries. It belongs in homes, in offices, in hotel lobbies, in the spaces where people actually live their lives. And it shouldn't whisper. It should speak.
